Charges
The initial consultation is payable within seven days from the date of the invoice. If an estimate of costs for manufacturing of footwear or other orthoses is accepted, a deposit of approximately one half of the cost is payable upon placement of the order, with the balance payable upon final fitting and supply of the goods.
Please note that whilst an estimate of costs given at the assessment stage attempts to anticipate all the costs involved in making a device, there may be additional charges which fall due during the fitting and supply process as a result of changes to the specification or to the client’s condition. In some cases, the final account is less than the estimate of costs owing to less clinical time being needed or a particular manufacturing process taking less time. If a major difference in cost is anticipated, this will be discussed with the client before proceeding with an order.
