“I have a spinal injury, level C7 incomplete, and have walked with crutches for around 30 years.
I’d tried all sorts of ways to solve the problems I had with everting ankles - Calipers and T-Straps, AFOs etc, It seemed the NHS equipment I was being offered couldn’t help.
I first went to PFA after finding them on the internet in August 2005 and had a lengthy consultation and examination with Alan Drew which resulted in having adaptations made to the existing pair of my own shoes. I also had a pair of insoles made from the impressions that were taken of the soles of my feet. This has all resulted in me being able to walk much further, more comfortably and with a much improved posture.
They give an expert, individual and friendly service and the quality of the workshop is second to none. I would recommend them to anyone who has problems with their feet or footwear.”
